HOW DO I SEND BACK MY CORE FOR REFUND

  • OBR Parts & Marine pays freight on a core that is shipped from anywhere in the contiguous United States .

  • A prepaid return freight voucher will be sent with every product that requires a core deposit .

• Package your core for return and put the return label on the box .Simply hand it to your UPS driver or call 1-800-PICK UPS to schedule pick up .You are responsible for the proper packaging of the core for return . Cores damaged in shipping due to poor packaging may not receive a full core refund .

  • For truck-line shipments, call the toll-free phone number on the return Bill of Lading for pick-up .

  • Please be sure to include a copy of your invoice inside the box with your core return .

  • The core refund will be mailed to the address as it appears on the invoice, unless otherwise notified .

HOW MUCH IS MY CORE WORTH?

• Each core that is received by OBR Parts & Marine is thoroughly evaluated to assess its value .

  • The condition of the parts determine the value of the core .

  • If one or more key components of the part are determined to be unusable, the core deposit refund will be adjusted to reflect the changes in value .

  • A powerhead assembly core consists of two key components in the evaluation of the core .

  • If each component is judged to be re-usable the full core amount will apply .

  • Thetwokeycomponentsaretheblock,andtheinternalcomponents(crankshaft,rods,etc)..

  • A defective free block represents 60% of the core value .The internal, defective free components represent 40% of the core value .A block that is ventilated will have no core value .A block that requires re-sleeving will have a reduced core value .

  • A core that has no value may be returned for a shipping charge according to weight .Only the defective parts may be returned once a core has been received for evaluation .

  • Cores damaged in shipping due to poor packaging may not receive a full core refund .

• A gearcase assembly core consists of three key components in the evaluation of the core .

  • If each component is judged to be reusable the full core amount will apply .

  • The three key components are the housing, the vertical drive shaft and the horizontal prop-shaft .

  • A defective free housing represents 60% of the core value .A reusable drive shaft represents 20% of the core value .A reusable prop-shaft represents 20% of the core value .

  • A core that has no value may be returned for a shipping charge according to weight .Only the defective parts may be returned once a core has been received for evaluation .

  • Cores damaged in shipping due to poor packaging may not receive a full core refund .
